Cookbook Giveaway

Hello Moms, Nielsen-Massey (maker of super delish vanilla extracts and a host of other pure extracts) sent me their celebration cookbook – A Century of Flavor. So you think vanilla is just for cookies? Think again – the mouth-watering dishes in this book Savory Pork Tenderloin, Salmon Fillets with Vanilla Balsamic Marinade and of course a whole section on the best part of the meal – dessert! With sweet endings like poached pears with vanilla cream, a berry almond tart and a flan classico, you’re sure to find something that will inspire your holiday cooking – I know what I’ll be trying this weekend.

And, Nielsen-Massey has kindly offered do sponsor a giveaway of 5 cookbooks. So for your chance to win: Tell us what your favorite recipe is using vanilla extract – it can be a cookie of course, but we’d love to hear something more exotic. We’ll pick winners randomly from the comments below. We can only ship to US residents for this one, but please feel free to add your favorite dish…

Hummm…What isn’t better w/some vanilla added! I would have to say my butter cream icing is my favorite though. I am very picky about icing and everyone always loves mine! It’s def. the extra vanilla!

  2. Brandy Allen says:

Honestly, my fave is snow cream, with fresh fallen snow, milk sugar and vanilla extract.

  3. Cindi says:

My husband and I love cookbooks! One of our favorite recipes using vanilla is called
“Graham Cracker Malted Vanilla Ice Cream.”
Also, for a kind of diet dessert, one can use dream whip, milk, vanilla, and a small amount of peanut butter and whip them together. Please count me in your delightful cook book giveaway drawing!
    Many thanks, Cindi
